It was a beautiful sunny day for Claire and Paul’s wedding at Weston Park Bandstand in Sheffield.
The bandstand is a particularly significant venue for the couple as they met while playing in the band Yorkshire Volunteers, the band played for them on the day which added a really personal touch to the ceremony.
Claire’s beautiful blush tinted dress from Sophia Tolli was stunning and her dragonfly adorned shoes were a joy to photograph! The bride arrived in style in a Bentley and attracted lots of attention from everyone in the park with some children screaming in delight to see a real princess!
The ceremony included personal touches with a reading and vows written by the couple for each other. We used the grand steps of Weston Park for some photos before taking the couple further out in the gardens, they certainly deserved an ice cream after that!
Tankersley Manor was the location for the reception, the centrepiece was definitely the amazing cakes with a personally constructed replica of the bandstand in the centre – wow! The speeches were very emotional and those who didn’t cry at that point certainly did when Claire sang “I wanna grow old with you” to Paul, not a dry eye in the house!
The band played during the first dance too. As we left the party the guests were enjoying some classic 80s music.
Congratulations Claire & Paul, we wish you every happiness for the future and thanks for the mention in the speeches!
