Tya & Liam’s wedding was fantastic, they are such a lovely, friendly happy couple full of excitement. Bridal prep was taking place in their flat in Sheffield, the bridesmaids were practicing their dance moves in their heels and the bride was trying to remain calm whilst drinking tea.
Tya’s make up was stunning and done by Lynsay from Greenfield and Beck. Tya’s gorgeous dress from Choola made her look every inch the princess, her accessories really set the gown off and of course every bride needs at least two pairs of shoes, one for walking in and one for looking at! Tya’s bouquet was made from felt flowers and brooches which she bought on etsy. We met their videographers there too from Cherish Media – hands down the best videographers we have worked with.
It was then off to the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield in a VW campervan where an excited Liam was waiting. He looked very dapper with his top hat! The sun was shining all day and Tya’s family made the ceremony really personal with a table at the head of the ceremony decorated with traditional for a traditional Iranian wedding.
We had time for a walk around the gardens and an ice cream before the bride and groom cut the cake with after a persian knife dance – exciting! The marquee in the grounds was decorated with amazing details all co-ordinated by the fantastic Firefly wedding planning. Tiny cupcakes from Fancie were served with tea before the buffet began. The guests feasted on a BBQ provided by Coco Catering and afterwards even had the chance to sample a chocolate fountain!
Their beloved dog Totoro came along to wish them luck too! After some excellent dancing came the first dance routine which was brilliant with Liam doing some high kicks in shades while Tya showed him some Persian dance moves. We ended the day watching them release some sky lanterns over Sheffield.
We wish the happy couple lots of love and luck for the future and have a fantastic time in the Maldives!
