The Autumn sun was shining brightly for Steve & Christine’s wedding day on the 10th of October. The couple live in Barton Blount, in the grounds of the very grand Barton Hall in Derbyshire. Just a stones through from their house is a stunning ancient church, St Chads.
They even had to seek permission from the Archbishop of Canterbury to get married in the church! With sun streaming in through the windows and the string quartet playing the church was spectacular.
Paul and I were truly spoilt for choice for locations for photographs with the amazing autumnal colours of the trees in the grounds and Christine’s choice of colour scheme, white and sage green. Christine looked beautiful in her handmade silk gown. The reception was held in the couple’s house with drink and delicious canapes served in the garden followed by a buffet and the most amazing homemade deserts from caterers New Farm Catering.
The speeches included messages from Christine’s family and an author from New Zealand. Christine and Steve led the first dance welcoming any couples in love to dance with them. Congratulations and have a fantastic time in Paris!
