Rebecca or “Tinks” was surrounded by excitable bridesmaids and princess the cat on the morning of her wedding day, she and had her hair and makeup done to the sounds of 80s pop classics!
Her dress was a gorgeous silk gown by Alan Hannah and was so big it proved difficult to fit her into the vintage car for the journey to the church. David had bought Rebecca some gorgeous Jimmy Choo heels for the big day, which were deserving of a photo shoot on their own.
Rebecca and her bridesmaids in their gorgeous purple gowns arrived at St John’s Church in Ranmoor in style in vintage cars. The church is truly amazing and Paul was lucky enough to have a high vantage point for the ceremony high up on a balcony, luckily he has a good head for heights! The ceremony was made personal by readings, one of their nephews playing the piano and another of their friends sang during the signing of the register.
We had time for a few photos outside the church with the newlyweds before we headed off for Mosborough Hall for the reception. The rain held off for most of the day so there was plenty of time for photos in the grounds. The reception room was decorated with candles, purple details and the gorgeous cake as a centrepiece. The speeches brought a tear to many people’s eyes with many people commenting on how they are such a kind couple, we could not have agreed more. Grace was said by one of the guests before they tucked into a lovely roast lamb dinner.
We were lucky enough after the meal to be allowed into the bridal suite for some special photos in the giant bathtub the hall has, this made for an interesting bubble shot!
Once it was dark we took the happy couple out for some photos with sparklers before they went back for their first dance. An amazing swing band played their first dance while Leah (one of their guests) sang “Moon River”. We left the couple and their guests dancing to some swing classics.
Everyone was so happy for Rebecca and David, they are such a brilliant couple who were so kind, after all its not many couples that insist on having a photo taken with the photographers!
Huge congratulations to Tinks and Sewell, wishing you many years of happiness!
