It was lovely to head back to Wortley Hall on a blustery December day to photograph Rochelle & Oliver’s wedding. We love the hall with its grounds that go on forever inside the decorations were beautiful with Christmas trees, candles and flower petals running down the aisle.
Rochelle and her bridesmaids and family were hurrying between rooms for makeup and hair, swapping bridesmaids dresses around and having a few cheeky chips before the ceremony started! Rochelle looked amazing in her fishtail gown, her bouquet was beautiful too with little pine cones hidden amongst the roses. The bridesmaids looked amazing despite the dress stresses and madonna situations!
Downstairs Oliver was nervously waiting with his brother and family. There were plenty of tears as Rochelle walked down the aisle – not all just from her proud Dad! The ceremony was lovely with an emotional reading by Oliver’s sister. As the happy couple stepped outside the guests congratulated them and coated them in confetti – the wind definitely helped with that!
There was time for canapes, a wander in the grounds and a chance to listen to the fabulous Paul Milligan playing piano afterwards before guests headed in for food. The speeches were funny with poor Oliver getting teased for his past womanising ways!
The evening kicked off with the cake cutting and the first dance before everyone joined the happy couple on the dancefloor.
We wish you both much love and happiness for the future
