We headed off to Nottinghamshire for Lucy & Dave’s wedding at the very spectacular Newstead Abbey.
Lucy was surrounded by lots of pretty details her Mum had set up for her while she was getting ready with perfume, chocolates, pretty hearts, pearls and glittering trinkets. Her stunning gown was an Ian Stuart creation aptly called “Sydney” which is where the couple got engaged 🙂
Over at the Abbey Paul was getting photos of the men in the grounds of the Abbey before the guests started to arrive.
The ceremony was both emotional and hilarious with Lucy’s Dad agreeing to give her away in a typical Yorkshire man’s style 😉 The sun shone for the couple as they emerged from the Abbey for some photos in the grounds including a few fun shots of the bridal party.
It’s the first time the Great Hall was used for a wedding reception and it didn’t disappoint in its grandness – everyone had a tankard for the toasts which was fantastic.
Later on we had a bit of time for some more photos, we brought along a frame for some fun shots of the guests and then it was time for dancing.
We want to wish you both love and luck for the future – you are both such kind and considerate people, we hope you have an amazing time on safari!
