The rain had finally cleared for Liz & Lee’s wedding day in April. I met Liz at her parent’s house surrounded by bridesmaids and her super cute daughter Sophie who was very excitable! I couldn’t resist taking a photo of Liz’s shoes next to Sophie’s, Liz had some great lacy platform shoes and importantly a Sheffield Wednesday garter!
Meanwhile Lee was waiting at Christ Church in Pitsmoor. The local church means a lot to the couple, Liz’s parents got married there and she used to play flute there too.
The bridesmaids looked pretty in yellow and blue matching their gorgeous flowers too.
The ceremony was lovely and personal and the happy couple left the church for the reception in their Daimler which showered everyone with confetti as it drove off – a definite first for us!
The reception was held nearby at Tankersley Manor – guests braved the cold wind for some photos before it was time for the speeches. The evening kicked off with a sweetie bar and some fun with bubbles on the dancefloor before the first dance.
We want to wish the happy family lots of love and happiness for the future xx
