Lindsay & Joe

If there was one song you would use as a soundtrack to Lindsay & Joe’s wedding it would be Warren G “Regulate”! Perhaps not the most conventional song but it certainly helped Lindsay and her bridesmaids when they laced Lindsay into her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown, after all you must check that you can dance in your wedding dress!

The ladies were getting ready in Mecure St Paul’s Hotel in Sheffield, their hotel room had a great view of all the guests arriving for the wedding at the Town Hall.

Lindsay & Joe had the Town Hall all to themselves for their wedding with the grand room upstairs for their ceremony. The ceremony was lovely, albeit slightly interrupted again by a “Regulate” ringtone! Family members read personal readings for the happy couple before they were announced husband and wife.

We had time for some photos afterwards around the Winter Gardens and even managed to grab a quick photo in front of the giant helter skelter which was part of the seaside attraction in the Peace Gardens.

The reception rooms were decorated with colourful place cards and standing pride of place at the top of the room were two replica masked puffer fish cakes made by Joe’s family. Very impressive. Later on we were surprised with another cake – three tiers of pork pie for an evening snack!

Speeches were fantastic – we left the couple dancing away to a fantastic band.

Lindsay & Joe are a fantastic couple, so happy and full of excitement. Never before has a bride opened the door to me in the morning jumping up and down with joy! We wish you lots and lots of love and luck for the future. xx
