Wentworth village is so pretty and the church there amazing with giant stained glass windows, such a beautiful place to get married. Kerry looked stunning in her dress with its jewelled embellishments, after deciding on what shoes she should wear and listening to Queen it was off to the church up the road from her parent’s house.
Chris had made a short walk around the corner from the local pub with his three best men! Inside the church the male choir from Kimberworth was limbering up. Kerry’s Grandad was part of the choir and they were lovely to listen to. The ceremony was fantastic and the sun was still just about out when they left the church under a shower of confetti.
The reception was held at Whitley Hall Hotel, one of our favourite venues. We braved the rain for some photos outside before the meal. Guests each had a little paper crane or peacock – all made by Chris! He even made a paper bride and groom as the cake toppers! Speeches were great – we all got to hear how they met at University and with Chris toasting Kerry as his best friend there were a few tears in the room!
Just time to dance the night away before their well deserved honeymoon the next day -wish I was in the Maldives right now!
Wishing you both lots of love and happiness for your future together
