Kate & Andy held their wedding at Halifax Hall in the heart of Sheffield. Andy and his groomsmen started the day in style with breakfast at Kelham Island in the sunshine while Kate and her bridesmaids were pampered back at the Hall.
Kate looked stunning in her Jenny Packham dress with her floral headband – there were lots of tears from the bridesmaids before heading downstairs to the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful with personal readings and more tears (Andy’s Mum was the culprit this time!)
After the ceremony we headed outside for photos before the rain started, the Hall has lovely grounds – guests could play giant jenga or practise their limbo skills outside. Inside the reception room looked amazing with gorgeous floral centrepeices and framed love quotes, each guest received a bottle of Sheffield’s finest Henderson’s relish and the crowning glory was two cakes – one traditional and one made from pork pies!
The speeches were funny and emotional, Kate’s Dad’s jokes were highly entertaining! In the evening after two cake cuttings it was time for the guests to pile onto the dance floor – lit up by a giant Mr & Mrs sign.
We wish you both so much love and happiness for the future- thanks for making us feel welcome and have an amazing honeymoon!
