Helen & Andy

Thankfully the rain held off for Helen & Andy’s big day at Kenwood Hall in Sheffield. Helen, the self confessed queen of organisation was very calmly getting ready with her bridesmaids 5 minutes away at her family home complete with gnomes!

Her stunning fishtail gown from Blissful Daze looked amazing on. Her bridesmaids were dressed in gold and purple with sashes expertly made into bows by Helen’s twin Marie-Anne. Helen’s flowers were from Brookhouse florists, a beautiful simple bouquet of purple cala lilies.

Andy and the groomsmen were nervously waiting in the Kenwood suite whilst a string quartet played. Helen’s dad gave her away at the ceremony but needed a bag of crisps beforehand when he found out he wouldn’t be eating until 4pm!

After the ceremony we took the newlyweds for a walk around the lake in the grounds for some photographs, Helen braved the grass in her heels. We then took some family portraits and tried dodging traffic for a great photo of the bridal party.

The Kenwood Suite was decorated downstairs for the evening with purple and gold details by Cocoon Creations. Speeches were great and included some interactive prop use by the bridesmaids and some very embarrassing stories!

The evening kicked off with the cake cutting and some enthusiastic dancing to “Let Loose”…

Congratulations Helen & Andy, we wish you both lots of love, laughter and luck for the future!

Looks like a great wedding, love the way you captured them in the woods, looks really romantic a bit like a midsummers night dream.
