It was a cloudy but bright Monday afternoon when I met Hannah at her Mum’s house preparing for her wedding. Everything was calm until the cars arrived, then it was a bit of a struggle to get that lucky sixpence in her shoe! Hannah’s dress was amazing and her cala lily and orchid bouquet from Monica Hewitt was a gorgeous finishing touch.
Hannah travelled in style in a vintage white car to the Town Hall in Sheffield.
The wedding was lovely and intimate and the happy couple stepped outside into the sunshine for the journey to Whitley Hall for their reception. A vintage bus was provided for all the wedding guests.
Whitley Hall is a stunning venue for any wedding, although we were a bit wary of the resident peacocks who apparently were a bit angry that day! We had the grounds to ourselves for photos and a nearby meadow of flowers and long grasses looked amazing, top marks to Hannah for being brave enough to venture into the field in her dress!
We just had time for a few family photos before the guests sat down for their meal. The speeches were brilliant with Lee making everyone cry with his heartfelt words about his new wife. We were also interested to find that he had proposed first with a haribo ring – good choice!
The mini cakes looked very tasty and the guests took one home each to end what was a fantastic wedding day.
Hannah & Lee are an amazing couple, their love for each other shone through the entire day and we felt priviledged to be part of their wedding.
Have a fantastic honeymoon in Bangkok – you both deserve the rest.
