We were in Harrogate for the Emilia & Ciaran’s wedding and although it was pretty cold we escaped snow! I met Emilia & her bridesmaids at the Crown Hotel where they were getting ready, despite a slight head stuck together incident all was very calm and Emilia looked amazing in her custom made dress with lace shrug, in fact she looked like a movie star as she made her way to the car to take her to the church.
The ceremony at St Roberts was lovely with personal readings, blessings and a lovely choir. The happy couple emerged outside to be greeted by a few snowflakes before heading off to Rudding Park for the reception.
Guests feasted on mini fish and chip cones and listened to a string quartet while we stole the happy couple away for a few photos in the grounds. Luckily the hotel were kind enough to allow the bridal party to throw confetti inside on the staircase which was pretty amazing!
The reception room was dressed with lovely white floral details with sweet jars and keyrings for favours, speeches were great and heartfelt, it was clear just how much their families meant to them.
Just before the first dance we managed to fit in some photographs outside with sparklers before the happy couple took to the dancefloor.
Emilia & Ciaran are such a lovely laid back happy couple, we hope you both have a very happy future together and enjoy New York!
