Claire & Jonathon

It was a little manic in the Winterton household on Claire and Jonathon’s wedding day with seven bridesmaids, a nervous bride and a dog to contend with! Claire looked amazing in her Ian Stuart dress, her Dad was blown away by her and then the tears started to flow!

With the weather being so mixed this summer the bridesmaids all had matching umbrellas for the day, we managed to get some photos with them even if they were not needed – it was actually a beautiful day. In nearby Sprotbrough Jonathon and his family were decorating the church with purple bows. The bridesmaids and bride all arrived in vintage cars with the bride’s car an amazing American import with a 10 litre engine – wow!

The ceremony was lovely and the rector made everyone laugh by making them sing songs from old adverts (there was a meaning in this!). Jonathon’s sister played guitar while they signed the register and then it was out into the sunshine for some confetti throwing and pictures.

Mount Pleasant Hotel in Doncaster held the wedding reception and the sun was still shining in the grounds for some photographs with the happy couple who tried out all their best poses for us – not sure about the walk like an egyptian pose though Claire 😉

Inside the room was decorated with purple details, flowers on the chairs and candles along with sweets for the guests. The tower of cupcakes went down a storm and Claire could not resist trying to squash one into poor Jonathon’s nose! Speeches were heartfelt and funny – who knew Jonathon used to look like Chewbacca?!

We sneaked off to the Princess and the Pea suite for a few photos where I could not resist asking whether they could both fit into the bathtub 🙂  Claire donned her shoes one more time for the first dance whilst guests feasted on a chocolate fountain and a mountain of haribo – yum!

Claire & Jonathon are such a fun and lovely couple whose love for each other was clear for everyone to see. We want to wish you both love, happiness and luck for the future and it is true what your Dad says – keep laughing together through whatever life throws at you and your marriage will always be a happy one 🙂

Many thanks for your efforts during the day, we had a fabulous day and the pictures that you have captured will keep the memories of the day alive forever. I have no hesitation in recommending you to friends, colleagues and family, not that you need any, your shots speak volumes on their own. Can’t wait for our own album and the rest of the pics. Best wishes Robert – father of the bride! xxx

Helen and Paul – you are amazing photographers with an obvious flair and talent. The pre-shoot photos were fantastic but these even exceed those. Thank you both so much for being there and taking such lovely photos, I can’t wait to see the rest. We had a fabulous day and I’m sure you will have caught images that will capture the essence of the atmosphere and how much everyone enjoyed it. I have been showing these photos at work in every classroom on digital whiteboards and the comments have been sensational. All the very best wishes to you both and of course your little man. xxxxx Ps I hope I gave you some funny memories as not many mothers of the bride get their photographer to sort out their corsage. Love the write up above, everyone at work says the manic at the Winterton’s is normal lol xx
