We couldn’t wait for Belinda & Mark’s wedding day, we knew all about their amazing Alice in Wonderland theme and with the help of the fantastic Emma & Vincent from Wedding Daze wedding planners their dreams and plans became a stunning reality on their big day.
Belinda was practising calm deep breathing when I met her on the wedding morning, her dress from Sharon Bowen bought from local bridal boutique Choola was gorgeous, her shoes had amazing floral details and her auburn hair and green eyes were set off with hair pearls, a gorgeous hair comb from Charlotte Balbier and of course a fantastic hair & make up artist; Polly Jensen.
Belinda’s bridesmaid’s dresses were a perfect matching colour for their peacock feather headpieces. Belinda’s gorgeous bouquet was made by the Anna from Swallows and Damsons complete with Alice inspired crazy ferns, peacock feathers and deep red roses.
The ceremony took place in the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield with personal music choices and a reading from one of the bridesmaids. The rain held off enough for a short stroll through the amazing gardens including the bear pit for some romantic shots of the newlyweds.
After some scones and champagne it was time for the short journey to Whirlow Hall Farm, the gardens of the farmhouse were transformed into an Alice inspired fantasy land complete with a marquee, bouncy castle and the most amazing tea party ever, topped off with a tower of tasty cupcakes from Yummylicious.
Guests enjoyed tea and a great deal of cake before the evening barbeque, the evening continued with some excellent dancing skills, fun with crazy hats people taking turns to sit in the ornate chairs in the secret grotto area of the garden.
The happy couple have now set up their own company specialising in vintage crockery hire; Wonderland Tea Parties so future brides can create their own fantastic tea party displays.
Belinda & Mark put in a great amount of effort to make their wedding dreams a reality, the day was truly amazing and we wish you both a relaxing honeymoon, you both certainly deserve it!
