Aston Hall looked amazing in the morning light where I met an extremely calm Karen and family in the Penthouse suite on the morning of her wedding day. Karen’s lovely hairstyle was complimented by a stunning hair piece from Glitzy Secrets.
I had lots of fun with Karen’s shoes which were a gorgeous purple colour to match her colour scheme and her bridesmaid’s dresses. Her princess gown was gorgeous with a beautiful sparkly bustier top. Calm was briefly interrupted by her cheeky and charming page boy and flower girl.
Aston Hall’s marquee was decorated with gorgeous purple flowers, Tony was kept waiting for a short while before the bride made her grand entrance. The ceremony was lovely with lots of jokes from Tony! Afterwards the happy couple joined the guests on the front lawn for drinks before we switched on the foam machine to recreate a snowy scene in October!
There was time later for some more romantic shots on the lawn and on the grand staircase although I did pull out a few props to fit in with the happy mood. Guests were entertained by a magician who showed them some impressive coin and card tricks.
The meal looked amazing with some hearty roast beef and Yorkshire pudding served up for guests. The couple even had two cakes, one a traditional cake and the other a tower of pork pies accompanied by brown sauce and onions!
The speeches were hilarious with some interesting references to the Chuckle Brothers. The evening celebrations kicked off with the first dance before a band played a set of tunes that filled the dancefloor.
Congratulations Karen and Tony, it was an amazing day with lots of fun and laughter.
