Angela & Ged were married in a tiny village in Doncaster called Loversall. I met Angela & her family in a hotel nearby as preparations were fully underway, in fact we left for the church so early we ended up stopping off in a layby so we wouldn’t be in the church too soon!
St Katherine’s Church in Loversall is beautiful, the men were having a cheeky tipple before the ceremony in the churchyard before the sword party formed an arch for the bride to enter the church, Ged is in the Royal Air Force so was fully kitted out in his uniform along with his colleagues.
After the happy couple left the church under steams of confetti it was time to head across the fields to the reception venue at Loversall Farm where a beautiful teepee was waiting for the guests. Much to the amusement of erveryone there were some zip wires nearby that kept guests entertained as well as outdoor games & marshmallow toasting in the evening.
After the meal came some funny speeches including a quiz for the newlyweds and plenty of ribbing from Ged’s brother! The first dance was performed by Ged’s family, a lovely way to end the day.
Congratulations to you both & enjoy your mini-moon
