We traveled down to Oxfordshire for Amie & Ben’s wedding on a day when the country was expecting a hurricane but nothing could dampen the spirits of Amie and her bridesmaids as they prepared for the wedding with nervous excitement. Amie looked amazing in her Sottero and Midgley gown, her Autumnal bouquet was stunning with little red leaves added in with the flowers.
Amie travelled to the Great Barn in a white beetle. Ben was waiting with the guests in the warmth of the grand ceremony room in the Barn. The ceremony was lovely with personal readings and a string duo. Guests mingled with champagne afterwards while the happy couple went for a spin in the beetle before we took advantage of a break in the rain for some photos in the grounds – brave couple!
Inside the reception room was dressed with amazing pumpkin centrepieces – a lovely cosy setting for the meal and speeches. Later on the guests were treated to a chocolate fountain and then the dancing began. I must say I was pretty impressed with Ben’s Beyonce style moves and Amie and her friends polished Gangnam Style routines 😉
Despite the wind and rain it was a great day and you are both such a lovely couple – we want to wish you both lots of love and happiness together for the future
