Amanda & Tim have been together for over a decade so their wedding day was much anticipated. I met Amanda and her family at Hellaby Hall where they were all getting ready. Amanda looked stunning in her gown with the most beautiful beaded back detail. There was no need for the fur coats as the sun was shining as everyone set off for the church in the cars.
Tim & his family and their lovely Labrador Luna were getting ready nearby – a few whiskys were needed to steady the nerves. The ceremony was held at St John’s in Kiveton, Luna was very well behaved as she walked down the aisle with the bridesmaids. There were a few tears during the emotional ceremony and then the happy couple left under streams of confetti to head back to Hellaby Hall for the reception.
Guests warmed up with mulled wine and mince pies then we braved the weather for some photos before heading inside where the room had been transformed with pom poms, lights, pine cones and each guest received a favour of hot choc mixture – such a great idea! Amanda had even made the wedding cake – bearing in mind she did this just after Christmas it was no mean feat and it looked amazing.
Speeches were funny and Tim ensured there were hardly any dry eyes left in the room when he declared how happy he was to be married to Amanda – aww! Santa even turned up during the meal to give gifts to the children!
In the evening we headed outside for a few more evening photos before everyone hit the dancefloor, the happy couple were wrapped up in each other during the first dance – then everyone else danced the night away.
