As wedding photographers in Sheffield we are lucky to have the fantastic Peak District on our doorstep. Its a 5 minute drive from Sheffield to be surrounded by rocks, trees and hills. Many of our couples like to use the Peaks for their pre-wedding shoots as they like to walk there at the weekend.

Stanage, Curbar, Burbage, Surprise View and Higger Tor have some fantastic crazy rock formations for shoots, when the heather is in bloom it can look amazing and the views are well worth the climb!
Padley Gorge near Hathersage is a lovely location with lots of trees and fast flowing water, plenty of millstones can be found around there! You can finish off the shoot with coffee and cake at Grindleford station cafe – a must see.

Further into the Peaks you can find Bolehill woods, nestled around the corner from Surprise View. There you can find a quarry and a wonderland of silver birch trees – truly spectacular.
Mam Tor is an imposing hill that overlooks the village of Castleton, the steps to get up the hill look lovely on our shoots and there is always somewhere hidden from the wind for a picnic!
