Lucy & Matt

Lucy & Matthew had a beautiful winter wedding in Sheffield. Lucy looked amazing in her dress and the bridesmaids excitedly gathered around before heading off to their local church in Crookes where Matt was nervously waiting.

After a lovely ceremony there was plenty of enthusiastic confetti throwing and the happy couple headed off to Whirlowbrook Hall for their reception. Despite the cold the weather was lovely for photos outside with the winter sunshine. In the evening guests tucked into their food and listened to the funny speeches before the dancing started in earnest!

We wish you both much love and happiness for the future

Kirsty & Tom

Such a lovely couple – what a fantastic wedding day for Kirsty & Tom.

Kirsty and her bridesmaid gang were excitedly getting ready at home while Tom and the boys headed to Ringwood Hall in Chesterfield for the wedding to meet their beloved dog Bear who loved the ceremony!

The ceremony took place outdoors in the summer sunshine with much tears and laughter before guests headed off to the marquee to relax in the grounds. The adorable flower girls kept us entertained by twirling around the gardens. Inside the room was decorated with flowers and crystal centrepieces and a lovely looking cake!

After the emotional and funny speeches we headed out into the grounds for some photos at sunset before heading to the dancefloor for the first dance and then some dance off action!

We feel priviledged to have captured such a special day for a lovely couple. We wish you much love for the future!

Rachel & Sam

Photographing weddings in Sheffield is always fun, especially at Whirlowbrook Hall, one of our favourite venues. Rachel & Sam were excitedly getting ready in two separate rooms there. Rachel looked amazing in her dress, just time for some quick champagne before the walk down the aisle where she was very nearly upstaged by her adorable page boys!

The ceremony was lovely and afterwards guests mingled in the gardens whilst we took photographs then it was just time for some bubbles instead of confetti before heading in for the meal. The speeches were great too. In the evening their was lots of cake and some very enthusiastic dancing!

We wish you both much love and happiness for the future

Helen & Paul photograph weddings in Cumbria and also weddings in Sheffield too, we love to travel all over the country to photograph weddings.

Family time in the Lake District

Being Lake District wedding photographers we love nothing more than exploring the Lakes and fells with our two energetic boys; Stanley & Albert.

Stanley recently walked up Binsey Fell with his school in Bothel so we wanted to head up there to see our little village from up high on the fell. Stanley is fantastic at walking and lets just say Albert was more of a fan of running and rolling back down the fell!

With such stunning views of Bassenthwaite and the Solway Coast we really enjoyed our little trip out.

Joanne & Paul

Joanne & Paul won a competition set by Whirlowbrook Hall where they get married in December this year. The weather for their pre-wedding session was beautiful. They braved the rocks of Surprise View in the amazing Peak District for some photos and then we headed to the spectacular heather for some more photos.

Good luck with all your wedding plans!

Claire & Paul

It was a lovely warm day in Sheffield for Claire & Paul’s wedding at Aston Hall Hotel. The bridesmaids were melting in the heat of the hotel room but still managed to all look amazing as they accompanied Claire down the aisle in the grounds to the pergoda where Paul was patiently waiting!

Claire looked amazing in her gown and there were many tears and laughs during the ceremony where one bridesmaid in particular was keen on sharing the spotlight!

After the ceremony guests cooled off with drinks while we took some photos and then it was time to head indoors for the buffet and cake- the sweet bar looked particularly tempting!

It is a pleasure to photograph weddings in Sheffield and Claire and Paul are such a lovely couple – I wish them much love and happiness for the future.

Jenny & Daniel

Despite the February chill Jenny & Dan had a lovely sunny wedding day in Sheffield. Jenny and her bridesmaids were excitedly getting ready at Whirlowbrook Hall with the church just up the road. The ceremony was amazing with lots of uplifting hymns.

The guests headed back to Whirlowbrook Hall for drinks and photos. After a tasty meal we had time for a few more photos with the happy couple before the dancing started. There is nothing better than a good ceilidh to get everyone dancing!

We wish you both much love and happiness for the future

Bethany & Laurie

The sun was shining brightly for Bethany & Laurie’s wedding in Sheffield. Bethany looked amazing in her wedding dress and her something borrowed veil – there were lots of tears from the family! her beautiful bouquet was by Monica Hewitt.

The excited bridal party headed off to Sacred Heart Catholic Church nearby in Hillsborough where they were so keen to arrive they were 30 minutes early! Laurie had to dash inside in case he saw the bride early!

The ceremony was beautiful with personal readings and lots of singing before they headed into the sunshine for a good coating of confetti! The reception was held at the Old Rectory in Handsworth where guests were amazed by the beautiful decorations inside with fairylights, periodic table & pebble place settings and of course the amazing Lego cake topper!

After some photos in the grounds guests feasted on paella before the speeches which were very entertaining! The highlight of the evening for Bethany was the Ceilidh – she was very excited by the dancing and the band Rodger the Badger did not disappoint – practically all the guests were on the dancefloor!

We wish you both much love and laughter for the future – it was a pleasure to be a part of your big day

Kay & Ian

Photographing weddings in Sheffield as well as being a Lake District wedding photographer is always fun. We love to head back down South especially to our favourite venue Whirlowbrook Hall for weddings.

Kay was looking stunning in her gown and had a lovely sunny day for her wedding to Ian. After some awesome bridesmaid posing and dancing we all headed to the church nearby for the wedding. It was a lovely service and the happy couple headed outdoors to greet their guests before heading back to the Hall for the reception. We were all blown away by the wedding cake – I think it was the biggest I’ve ever seen!

The entertainer/singer in the evening got the party kicking off in style with some dancing/singing and even a conga – we loved Ian’s dance moves – very entertaining!

We wish you both much love and happiness for the future

Danielle & Matthew

Danielle & Matthew had a fabulously sunny wedding day in Yorkshire. Her dress was a beautiful blush pink – a lovely surprise for all the family – there were tears!

Everyone headed off to the local church in Burley for the wedding ceremony in style in an open top vintage car! The ceremony was lovely with personal readings and plenty of confetti as they headed off through the Dales to the reception in Ripley Castle.

The castle grounds were a stunning backdrop for photos, inside the reception room was festooned with decorations and sweets for all the guests. After their afternoon tea there was time for some tearful and funny speeches before they danced the night away!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Pope!!
