Keeley, the event organiser, was happy for us to take some images to be used for publicity. Some of our wedding networking group members came along too so it was a very nice day out, the tea and cake was a welcome addition to our Sunday morning!
Keeley and her team gave us a warm welcome with love heart sweets and an amazing display of vintage wedding gowns throughout the decades. In the main room the Marvellous Tea Dance company provided tea and cakes with their staff dressed in bright vintage clothing and served in beautiful tea cups. Many exhibitors had displays of truly amazing handmade headdresses that were covered in fantastic details, ranging from gorgeous hair bands (Sheena Holland) to dinky hats.
Leafy Couture provided cute displays of flowers in vintage tea cups – a lovely idea for a centrepiece. There was also a make up artist, Clare Lennon, providing demonstrations of vintage makeup.
In between these amazing stands were many different styles of vintage clothing, providing people with the ideal excuse to get dressed up.
Parked outside the hotel was a VW camper van completely kitted out in gorgeous blue colours, what a fantastic way to arrive at your wedding venue! Next to it was a cute white VW beetle.
It was a busy day with many people planning vintage themed weddings arriving to get inspiration, the next wedding fayre for the team will be in September and will be just as spectacular.
