We love Autumn and winter, the trees all turn such fantastic golden shades, you can dig out your favourite gloves and eat nice hearty stews (maybe that’s just me!). Besides all of that its my birthday in November so I personally love Autumn and you can often find me getting excited about kicking my way through a pile of leaves even though I am technically an adult now 😉
What more of an excuse do we need then as photographers to get out there in the countryside! This Autumn we were anticipating the arrival of another member of the Haigh family, baby Ruby Mae was born in November so we have had the Haigh family in Sheffield quite a bit for visits.
We took the Haighs to some of our favourite places in Sheffield and the Peaks for some photos – Bolehill Woods and the area surrounding Padley Gorge in the Peak District is one of our new walking destinations. Paul and I took a walk there just a few weeks ago and managed to see lots of mushrooms – we also threw lots of leaves around and I scrambled up paths in my pregnant state which is no longer as easy as it used to be!
We also had some fun with the Haighs in the Botanical Gardens – we taught them the joys of jumping and the mother and father in law even had a mock fight in the bear pit – interesting!
