Paul and I were very excited to be involved in Sheffield’s first Vintage Bridal Soiree at the Chimney House, put together by some fantastic wedding suppliers in Sheffield; Jennie from Hansley Beard Event Planning and Design, Blanche and Richard from Coco Catering, Anna from Swallows and Damsons florists and Laura from Little White Book wedding planning who in addition to organising the event put together a vintage style kissing booth for the soiree which we had some great fun with.
Guests arrived and were greeted with a stunning candy buffet provided by Hansley Beard Event planning and design, specially designed cocktails, cupcakes from Blush and homemade popcorn and mini burgers from Coco Catering, before they got the chance to look around some of the most amazing wedding supplier’s displays. Anna had dotted the venue with amazing floral displays and all around was vintage crockery provided again by Hansley Beard, dresses by Choola and some amazing crystal bouquets from DC Bouquets.
We had amassed a massive collection of props for the kissing booth including some mustaches on sticks, feather boas and some brilliant caption boards made by Lucy Ledger Designs. Guests were entertained by Jazz Singers, Richard Smith Caricatures and a Benz alternative magic, dressed for the part!
We had a great time, the Chimney House is a fantastic intimate wedding venue and would look stunning for any wedding day all the guests went away with lots of sweets and ideas to make their weddings full of vintage fun and flair!
