Today I thought I would devote a wedding wednesday blog post to our pre-wedding shoots as we are lining up quite a few in the next few months. We think it’s important for our couples to have a pre-wedding shoot as it gives you a chance to get to know us and how we work and to feel more comfortable in front of the camera – I have yet to come across anyone who actually likes having their photo taken!
The pre-wedding shoot can take place at any time of the year in any location, we love to go to places that have a special meaning to you – maybe you got engaged there or love walking your dog together in the woods. We also love the shoot to reflect your personalities – you like climbing in the Peaks or eating cupcakes in town – either way bring us along it will be much more fun than going somewhere that means nothing to you.
We also love to bring along props for added fun or feel free to bring your own like Ami & Craig did below – do you have a quirky wedding theme you want to bring into the shoot?
Location wise we are spoilt for choice in South Yorkshire. The Peak District is on our doorstep, although don’t overlook Sheffield itself there are some fantastic locations around town and the old industrial areas such as the canal and Kelham Island. You can see some of the locations we have been to here.
Included with our pre-wedding shoots are a large mounted print for your guests to sign like a guest book at the reception and also small cards with images from the shoot on and the web link to your future wedding gallery on the back – the grandparents LOVE these!
