PH favourite photo – Waiting

This week’s Wedding Wednesday lands on a leap year – we would love to hear from any brides who have taken the plunge and proposed today, how did you do it?

Today’s post is one of our favourite photos from previous weddings.  The image below was taken at Louise & Gordon’s wedding in Ecclesall Parish Church on a sunny but cold January day.

We have captured Gordon’s face just as he sees Louise walking down the aisle and the look of pure happiness in his eyes is clear to see. In the background one of the bridesmaids wipes a tear from her eye. The image says so much without us even needing to see the bride.

This is one of the main advantages to booking us to cover your wedding day, there are two of us – myself and my husband Paul. We capture the wedding unfold from two different positions. I am usually at the front of the church and Paul at the back of the church, in this case Paul was in the balcony so he could get some amazing angles of the ceremony.

Louise says how much she loves this image “What absolute genuine emotion and I get to see it!! Gill (her sister) and I looked at that pic and blubbed!”

The image shows real love and happiness and is a moment captured forever for the couple to treasure. You can click the image to see more photos from their wedding day
